Abstract:
The aim of this study is the analysis of poly-ethnicity as an objective factor of the modern political processes,
as well as the attempt to create a typology of formation of poly-ethnicity, as this issue is important for the effective
management of international crises and confl icts. The research methodology is based on the use of poly-ethnic
system of general scientifi c, comparative methods, attracting the statistical methods of historical analysis, as well as
the constructivist approach. The authors conclude that the problem of multi-ethnic modern states is multifactorial,
especially in the face of challenges and threats that potentially accumulate in the inter-ethnic contradictions
